Alice is built with privacy at its core. We believe your personal data belongs to you, and we've designed our system to minimize data collection while maximizing utility.
Data Collection
Alice processes most data locally on your device. We collect:
- • Account information (email, name) for authentication
- • Device telemetry for improving performance
- • Optional: Cloud-synced preferences and memories (encrypted)
Local-First Processing
Voice processing, context understanding, and personal memory all happen on-device. Your conversations are never sent to our servers unless you explicitly enable cloud sync.
Data Security
All cloud-synced data is encrypted end-to-end using industry-standard encryption. Even we cannot access your personal data.
Your Rights
You can export or delete your data at any time through the Alice app. Contact privacy@alice.ai for any privacy-related requests.
